Overview As our Office Lead at CHI Oakes Hospital Community Clinic, you will provide administrative and clerical support for clinic operations; coordinate clinic functions and special projects, learning all aspects of clinic operations. You'll oversee clinic office assistant staff on day-to-day operation. Assist in identifying and providing guidance in resolving operational issues. Efficiently direct patient flow throughout the clinic. Coordinate general front office activities including but not limited to; registration, TOS collections, verification of benefits, appointment scheduling, daily billing, daily reconciliations, and other related duties. Assist the Clinic Manager to ensure appropriate staffing coverage at all times. Assist the Clinic Manager with the new hire or reoc curring training processes. Assist the Clinic Manager to facilitate training of new hires and other training initiatives. Provide direction and support to clinical staff as requested. About Us: CHI Oakes Hospital is a 20-bed critical access hospital that provides various inpatient and outpatient services to approximately 14000 people in southeastern North Dakota. It is also a 24-Hour Emergency Level V Trauma Center. The hospital building was newly-constructed in 2007 replacing a 50-year old building and in 2010 Oakes Community Clinic was opened within the hospital building. The hospital is part of a larger values-based organization CommonSpirit Health. Responsibilities Effectively present information and respond to common inquiries or complaints from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Qualifications High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent Must be proficient with the Google Drive, Internet navigation, database management, desktop publishing, spreadsheet, and graphic presentation packages. Two (2) years related experience in a front of back office clinic setting is preferred.
