Join us and become part of an inclusive team. Client Overview: Our client is a long-standing organization in the infrastructure and planning space looking to add a Senior Accountant . This company is looking for an experienced professional that can work on a team just as effectively as they and work independently. Salary/Hourly Rate: $35 - $40/hr Position Overview: Senior Accountant applicants must have strong attention to detail, and analytical skills. Looking for 3-5 years experience with month-end close, accruals, financial analysis, etc. Ideal Senior Accountant candidate should be hard working, and comfortable with meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience in government and/or non-profit accounting is a huge plus. Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant: Prepare financial analyses and reports Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts Working with grants, bonds, and long-term loans Perform input, maintenance, and review of fixed assets Responsible for updating/reviewing the forecast for possibly a weekly, monthly, and year-end basis Qualifications for the Senior Accountant: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong excel skills ERP systems Leadership, communication, and financial analysis on an accounting team all a big plus Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or related field is required Benefits: Atrium Care Package available, upon eligibility.
