Job Title: Senior Business Development Representative - Transportation & Logistics Division: Sales Reports To: President FLSA Status: Full-Time; Exempt POSITION SUMMARY As a Senior Business Development Representative, you will be primarily responsible for generating new revenue by selling Multimodal and Transportation Management solutions to prospective clients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Prospecting new opportunities within Ziplines defined target market. This position will work towards increasing market share with new accounts and growing existing accounts that are potentially assigned. This would be accomplished through prospecting via social media, phone, and email along with trade shows and other networking events. Onboarding new customers to build a robust pipeline and client portfolio. Developing and managing new customers while answering questions and resolving problems. Collaborating with internal departments to ensure we provide the highest level of service. Understanding Zipline specific technology platforms: TMS and other web-based systems Maintaining an organized and updated pipeline of prospects by updating CRM system with client details, sales activities and follow up actions. Seeking out additional, outside resources to further your learning and development of sales and logistics Traveling to retail trade shows.
