Note: We are targeting a Q1, 2025 start for this position We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst/Associate to support our growing Build-to-Rent ('BTR') team in the acquisition and development of BTR communities. This role will be directly involved in all parts of the investment process, with an emphasis on underwriting and financial analysis, diligence, deal structuring and execution. Reporting to Director, Acquisitions you will work closely with, and learn from, our experienced senior management team, and have the opportunity to work on new business initiatives. This is an office-based position based in our New York City office with a 4/1 hybrid work schedule available. The Role: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Support deal origination efforts, including initial opportunity screening, deal sourcing, and pipeline management Build detailed underwriting analyses and financial models to evaluate acquisition and investment opportunities Prepare investment memorandum for presentation to Evergreen's Investment Committee and the Company's capital partners Support project due diligence, working cross-functionally with internal partners as well as third-party diligence providers Assist with financing, capital raising, and transaction negotiation and documentation Prepare materials and analyses for ad-hoc strategic, corporate, and investor-related projects Qualifications and Experience Strong academic background with an undergraduate degree required, ideally focused on Finance, Business or Real Estate, preferred 1-3 (3+ for Associate) years of investment banking, private equity, or real estate acquisition and development experience, with Real estate (and specifically single-family rental) experience a plus Advanced financial modeling skills and presentation capabilities (Excel and PowerPoint) Highly analytical mindset Ability to analyze large datasets (experience with SQL, R, Python, and/or Tableau a plus, but not required) Highly organized with excellent project management skills and strong attention to detail Motivated self-starter and collaborative team player with demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Flexible and able to deal with ambiguity Excellent written and verbal communication skills The anticipated base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000. Total compensation also includes a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
