Director Infrastructure and Operations

Our client is a small, growing company developing and manufacturing advanced airborne 3D lidar mapping systems and associated software required to produce point cloud data products. Customers include the commercial and government organizations for both civilian and defense/security applications. The Director of Infrastructure and Operations reports to the CEO, and is responsible for the infrastructure within which our technical team will thrive and create success for our customers The Director of Infrastructure and Operations will bolster our breakthrough technology with the infrastructure of process and policies critical to their sustained success. Responsibilities: Maintain and improve physical facilities (build-outs, security, leases, etc.) Maintain and improve employee policies and procedures Understand and continuously improve our compliance posture with FAR, DFARS, state and local regulations, and contracts Develop, maintain, and strengthen an effective export compliance program Administer Personnel Security as Facility Security Officer (DoD FSO) Manage and optimize insurance coverages Manage the consultants/contractors used for financial, tax, and legal affairs Contribute to vendor selection and vendor relationships to ensure reliable acquisition of subcomponents for our low-rate manufacturing
