LOCATION 1140 Wehrle Drive, Buffalo, NY 14221 JOB PURPOSE The Marketing Coordinator is the primary marketing associate at LDi. The position is responsible for supporting LDi's Business Development Managers on gaining freight broker agent leads, executing the brand initiatives as directed by the EVP of Business Development, managing any 3rd party marketing agencies, and developing marketing resources to assist LDi's internal and external customers. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES Coordinate with the Business Development Managers to advance LDi's existing freight broker agent recruitment marketing, including: Lead and execute all SEO activities. Responsible for all content on social media and executing an effective program. Manage data tools that drive traffic to the company website. Develop, oversee, and evaluate ROI on any online advertising spend as agreed on. Develop marketing tools and materials for LDi and its freight broker agent partners to support sales efforts to their customers. Standardize effective service brochures for sales that are easily deployed and available. Work with sales leaders on customized marketing approaches or data for specific agents/customers. Partner with LDi's external marketing agencies to manage and execute projects as determined by the Marketing Committee. Evaluate spending with agencies for ROI. Maintain the company's website and have responsibility for content. Propose changes that keep the website fresh and produce the experience for visitors and users. Partner with the IT team to move forward with agent/carrier/shipper user pages to enhance the website as an effective tool. Develop, oversee, and print advertising or message in trade publications as directed. Help coordinate any press releases as directed. Collaborate with sales leaders on trade shows and manage booth coordination. Complete ad hoc projects as assigned by the EVP of Business Development. Enhance lead generation in support of the Business Development Team Conduct thorough market research to identify prospects, target industries, and new business opportunities through various channels (online research, social media, networking events). Build database of large agent prospects to support on-going recruiting campaign and support campaign as directed by the EVP of Business Development EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or Communications preferred. 3+ years of Marketing experience. Preferably working with Logistics/Transportation companies. Ability to comfortably communicate with cross-functional teams. Logistics and HubSpot experience are a plus, but not required. Proficiency in social media, CMS, Microsoft Office, and CRM. Proven experience in lead generation or sales development. Ability to conduct thorough market research and leverage digital tools for prospecting.
