The Job: As Quality Manager you'll be part of our Industrial Global Supply team working as an onsite employee. You'll get be: Directly responsible for activities and certifications for IATF 16949 compliance Develop and maintain internal audit functions to meet the requirements of required standards Act as liaison with customers to resolve quality issues in a timely manner Review all customer quality requirements on a continual basis to ensure all systems are in compliance Provide internal quality training as required to improve quality performance Develop, maintain, and improve quality system as required to meet customer quality system requirements Lead/manage quality department activities towards reaching internal/external goals & objectives Develop improvement action based upon analyzed facts/data to lead plant in continuous improvement Lead, mentor and participate in improvement activities, analyze facts & data and present Coordinate quality control functions to assure collaborative involvement from cross functional activities The Person: You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions. You have: Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year institution or 8 plus years of quality or related technical experience and a minimum of 2 to 3 years management technical supervisory experience. Automotive industry (IATF 16949) or manufacturing experience - quality improvement/lean manufacturing. Demonstrate knowledge of quality tools (i.e. SPC, 8D, FMEA, Control Plan). Good problem-solving skills including root cause analysis and other statistical methods, analytical techniques & training skills in complex environments and possess the ability to mentor and develop subordinates in quality skills and customer satisfaction. Ability to lead teams to successfully complete organizational objectives in a timely manner and you are proficient in application/implementation of quality tools & methodologies (i.e. GDT, FMEA, Control Plan, Gage Calibration).
