Our client in Rochester Hills, MI is an independent wealth management team that manages over $400M in assets and is seeking a sharp, motivated, and detail-oriented Financial Advisor to join their team. The practice founder has @100 already established relationships that he would like this person to run lead with. Lead client meetings, present financial plans, answer questions about the plan, and act as the financial advisor for these clients. In-person role, Monday-Friday. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher FINRA series 7, 66 (or 65,63) Certified Financial Planner designation a plus Experience with goals-based planning software a plus Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and listening skills Ability to understand and explain sophisticated financial concepts and issues Strong problem-solving skills Detail-oriented, accurate, organized, able to set priorities, self-starter Financial planning/wealth management acumen, judgment, and experience Passionate about doing what is best for clients and limiting conflicts inherent in the broader industry Team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
