Senior Program Finance Analyst

Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Program Finance Analyst to join their team in supporting government clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of government accounting and program finance processes, as well as advanced skills in Excel and other program finance planning systems. This role involves collaborating with senior managers and directors to provide day-to-day financial management and decision support to project managers. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow their skills and work with a dynamic team, contributing to the organization's ability to serve its clients effectively. Oversee all aspects of operational finance for supported programs Attend contract kick off meetings and work with accounting to set up projects correctly Handle financial functions such as program EACs, monthly forecasting, reporting and analysis for a portfolio of programs Assist in project setup in the Vena forecast tool Collaborate with project managers on monthly forecasts, risk assessment, and variance analysis for senior management Support monthly close activities including recording journal entries, revenue recognition, and variance analysis Provide templates, perform QA analysis, and offer input to project managers, market leads, and management Collaborate with other teams such as Finance, Contracts, Accounting, HR, and Operations to ensure accuracy and collect data Participate in project management reviews for the corresponding program portfolio as needed Ensure accurate processing and documentation of financial reporting/transactions Forecast, process, report, and manage intercompany transactions with the parent company Assist the accounting team in preparing monthly billings Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance 5 to 7 years of related program finance experience in a government contracting environment Knowledge of government contracting regulations, accounting and finance principles, and general business practices Advanced knowledge of Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple work streams while maintaining high quality output Demonstrated experience with financial modeling and data analytics Desired Qualifications: Strong communication and team building skills Experience with Deltek Costpoint preferred or willingness to quickly learn with provided training About Capgemini Capgemini is a global leader in partnering with companies to transform and manage their business through technology.
