Job Details Level Experienced Job Location Maryland - Baltimore, MD Position Type Full Time Education Level 4 Year Degree Travel Percentage None Job Shift Day Job Category Marketing Associate Brand Manager Job Summary: The Associate Brand Manager will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of brand product strategy consistent with all aspects of the business, including consumer communications, financial management, business fundamentals, marketing planning, digital marketing and tactical execution of plans. The position will report to the Sr. Director of Brand Marketing offering 2/3 hybrid role at Pompeian HQ at 4201 Pulaski Highway Baltimore, MD 21224. Associate Brand Manager Requirements: 4-year BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business required Co-op or Internship experience preferred 1-3 years in Brand Management (Food, CPG or Supplements preferred) including internships or co-op within the CPG industry Excellent analytical skills, organizational skills and strong project leadership with the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects Possess strong time management skills and communication skills including verbal, presentation and interpersonal Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast - paced changing environment Experience working in a team-oriented, cross functional environment with strong problem-solving skills and decision-making skills Experience with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and ERP systems Associate Brand Manager Pay and Benefits: Salary range is 85-90K with opportunities for advancement available Position is eligible to receive annual bonus Health, Vision, Dental Insurance, 100% monthly premium funded by Pompeian for single or family 401K plan and company match program Health Reimbursement Account Paid vacation, 40 hours paid sick leave, 9 paid holidays, 2 paid floating holidays Annual safety shoe allowance Paid time off for Jury duty, Bereavement Leave, and Volunteer Events Employee Referral Bonus Program Free Employee Assistance Program for employees and household members Employee led programs for wellness, diversity and planned community events Educational Assistance Program Family Scholarship Program Opportunity to work with a Top 2023 Workplace in manufacturing, compensation & benefits and one of Maryland healthiest business Associate Brand Manager Responsibilities: Develop in-depth understanding and become an expert in the market and the business environment in which Pompeian brands compete, to include product category segments and channels Assist in the development and execution of brand integrated marketing plan Associate Brand Manager will be held accountable for the execution of specific brand activities within the integrated marketing plan (e.g. media plan, consumer and trade promotion activities, ecommerce, special packs, sampling, shopper marketing, etc.), ensuring consistency with brand strategy and brand communication plan Lead the execution of the day-to-day operational activities, assisting in the management of P&L and marketing budget while identifying changes impacting the budget and proactively communicating implications and recommendations Associate Brand Manager will be responsible for business tracking & updates such as; assist in financial, competitiveness, pricing and category analysis, identifying key trends and brand implications and work with key decision tools and information sources Analyze monthly Nielsen data and report on business and competition utilizing this information to develop hypothesis and draw conclusions that support the objectives of the business Leading and interfacing with cross-functional teams for successful and timely completion of commercialization of brand improvement projects Partner with Sales to identify opportunities with key customers in the areas of promotion, packaging, and sampling Website and social media management Ensure all projects comply with environmental regulations, and company environmental goals Perform duties and tasks per Pompeian's mission, goals and core values All other duties and tasks assigned About us: The Olive Oil People - is America's largest national brand of olive oil, bestselling vinegars and a variety of cooking sprays.
