VP, Controller

Our client, a growing professional services firm that has over 25 years in business is seeking a Controller.The Controller will manage a team of 10 and take ownership of all accounting and finance.The Controller will be responsible for all month and quarter end closes, financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, leading the annual audit, and providing support to executives/business unit leaders. $160-190k plus bonus Responsibilities: Lead the Accounting function with responsibility for building out a high performing team that can scale portfolio of companies grows Manage accounting monthly close operations, and financial reporting including the daily activities for GL, AP, and AR Prepare internal and external financial reports Interact with the management teams, including assisting with preparation of financials for board meetings Work with the VP of Sales & Account Management to bring accuracy and timeliness in reporting Manage relationships with key external vendors and partners Support key operational and compliance processes and programs Assist in any financial audits Maintain accounting and financial reporting systems; drive enhancements to current systems and business processes Partner with executive management to build financial discipline throughout the organization and enable strong performance against strategic, financial, and operational goals Requirements 10+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP Track record of building and developing high performance accounting teams in a fast paced organization Systems implementation experience a plus Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance CPA/MBA preferred If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
