General Description The IT Director of Infrastructure will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of our company's infrastructure. This role requires an analytical thinker with a deep understanding of cloud architecture, SDWAN, IaaS, and business continuity planning. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading infrastructure projects, optimizing performance, and ensuring the highest levels of availability and security. Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions: Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the infrastructure strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Cloud Architecture: Design and implement scalable and secure cloud solutions, leveraging platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. SDWAN Management: Oversee the deployment and management of SDWAN solutions to enhance network performance and reliability. Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS): Lead the adoption and optimization of IaaS solutions to improve efficiency and scalability. Network and Telephony: Oversee performance, stability and optimization of voice and data services to support a highly available and mobile firm. Business Continuity: Develop and maintain comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure uninterrupted operations. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of infrastructure professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the best solutions and services are delivered. Budget Management: Develop and manage the infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. Compliance and Security: Ensure all infrastructure solutions comply with industry standards and regulations, maintaining the highest security standards. Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies aligned with organizational goals. Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Oversee IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect the organization's data and IT assets. Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers. Required Skills: Strong strategic and operation experience in a leadership capacity. Proven experience in leading and managing large-scale infrastructure projects. Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong knowledge of cloud computing & virtualization platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Deep understanding of systems architecture and design principles. Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends. Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies. Required Qualifications & Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field 10+ years of progressive experience managing and leading diverse teams. Experience in IT infrastructure management, with a proven track record leading successful projects. ITIL - Infrastructure Technology Infrastructure Library PMP - Project Management Professional CBCP - Certified Business Continuity Professional certification or equivalent Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Moderate or advanced keyboard usage.
