Position Information General Information Position Number 000285 Vacancy Open to All Candidates Working Title General Fund Budget Analyst Position Designation EHRA Non-Faculty Employment Type Permanent - Full-time Months per Year 12 Work Schedule 7:00 am - 4:00 pm; Monday - Friday Hours per week 40 FLSA Status Exempt Division Business Affairs Department Business Affairs (Adm) Work Location Reese 301C17 Salary Range $55,000 - $65,000 Primary Purpose of Department The Division of Business Affairs plans/provides essential human, financial, facility, and administrative support services for the university. This division is comprised of seven (7) departments: Administration; Budget; Business Services; Facilities Management; Financial Services; Human Resources; and Safety and Security. The Budget Office provides budget planning, execution, and reporting for the institution's funds that are used for instruction, support functions, student activities, and capital improvement projects. Specifically, the Office administers budgets for state funds (i.e., the General Fund), auxiliaries (e.g., Housing and Residence Life, Parking), and student fee-funded operations (e.g., Student Union, Athletics). The Office also administers budgets for capital improvement projects and provides position budget management for all types of funds. Primary Purpose of Position This position provides detailed accounting records and reconciliation for all budget transactions affecting the General Fund for the University. This includes preparing and entering budget revisions into the Banner Finance system for the campus, reconciling daily budget transactions to monthly reports, and providing assistance to departmental personnel in understanding their available budget.
