Senior Fund Accountant

Senior Fund Accountant (Private Equity) This role will be reporting into our Controller overseeing Corporate and GP reporting. Job Responsibilities Enter wires for GP capital activity into online banking platforms for capital contributions, distributions, and carried interest Create journal entries for daily cash activity into accounting system Manage daily cash reconciliation and bank accounts for over 70+ General Partner bank accounts Prepare the carried interest allocations based on General Partner organizational documents, vesting schedules, and individual GP ownership structure Prepare the carry distribution notices for each member of the General Partner Prepare quarterly workpapers for General Partner entities including maintaining the related general ledgers Manage reporting to the strategic investors in certain General Partner entities Calculate the strategic investors' commitment to certain General Partner entities in accordance with governing documents Calculate amounts due from (or to) GP co-investors for annual cash flows that are paid for by the Investment Manager on behalf of each co-investor. Manage the reporting of these annual true up amounts and work with Corporate Finance team to collect (or pay) amounts Assist with requests received from GP members Work directly with the Controller or CFO on any ad hoc requests Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 2-3 years of experience in private equity or alternatives Fund accounting experience (must have) Advanced Microsoft Office skills Experience using online banking platforms (must have) Nice to haves: Allvue experience Experience with complex private equity structures Ability to multi-task and independently manage competing deadlines
