We are looking for a talented, highly motivated software engineer with proficiency in C# programming. This engineer will play a key role in the development of our proprietary deep learning platform. Together with Cognitiv's team of engineers and data scientists, you will help build the next generation of tools to train and execute artificial neural networks at scale to solve complex big data problems. We are looking for multiple Senior Software Engineers to join the team that is responsible for building and supporting critical services that drive Cognitiv's Core platform and offerings. The Core platform plays a significant role in Cognitiv as nearly all products and services within the organization rely on our platform to meet client demands and drive business decisions. This position will be located in the Bellevue, WA office with a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in office (Mon/Tue/Wed) and 2 days remote (Thursday/Friday). Responsibilities Lead the technical design, architecture, and development of meaningful projects and services Build, own, and operate back-end services built primarily on a C# and Postgres stack Be a mentor for Junior Engineers through Code Reviews, Pair Programming, and Design Reviews Develop automated testing and benchmarking routines Requirements 5+ years development building back-end services in .NET Framework/Core 5+ years of experience designing and implementing RDBMS data models (Postgres, MSSQL, Oracle, etc.) Experience using enterprise cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) Ability to own services end-to-end in service life cycle (planning, design, delegation, release, testing, etc.) Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions Thrives in environments where your work is visible and impactful to the team and the product Proven ability to communicate complex technical information to all collaborators clearly and concisely. Preferred Qualifications Experience building and working with data-driven systems Salary $160,000-$210,000 Base Salary + Equity Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to job-related knowledge, level of relevant experience, education and skills.
