The Opportunity: In this role, you will work directly with our Research scientists to support the tools that enable their workflows, including LabGuru ELN, Revvity Signals, and Spotfire. This person will collaborate with chemistry and biology teams to understand project needs, translate business needs into technical requirements, build relationships with software vendors to enable strong partnerships, build/implement new tools and workflows, and provide training and enablement resources to fully utilize our software systems. About You: Highly motivated, product-oriented professional, with an understanding of working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Collaborate with the Chemical Technologies, Chemistry and Compound Management teams to foster a culture of scientific excellence, data curation, best practices, and project impact. Identify opportunities to improve scientific workflows though software tools and technology, clearly communicate those opportunities, and advocate for adoption of new software and workflows. Your Background: Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other scientific or technical discipline 3-5 years' experience working within a Biotech or Pharma IT/Informatics organization, or in a technical scientific role In-depth knowledge of life sciences R&D processes with fluency speaking about science and scientific data models and analysis results. Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Technical Requirements: Experience in working with implementation, integration, and configuration of digital scientific solutions required. Deep knowledge of Signals ELN and Signal Parallels product, including automated workflows, integrations with these products, and creation of templates Experience building analysis dashboards in Spotfire and/or Vortex Experience with compound inventory systems, such as Titian Mosaic, which facilitate inventory and automated dispensing workflows Technical understanding of databases (implementation of data models, query construction, integration tasks, and ETL operations) Experience with at least one programming/scripting language and programmatic interfaces (APIs)e.g., Python, R, or similar, to be able to transform / analyze various scientific data Awareness of orchestration library tools like Airflow, Prefect, etc. preferred.
