Job Summary: OEG is looking for a Controller to be the leader of our Finance team. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial activities, preparing financial reports, monitoring budgets, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Additionally, the Controller will collaborate with different departments to support strategic decision-making. Requirements Duties/Responsibilities: -Financial Reporting & Analysis: Managing accounting records, overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Produces and manages balance sheets and analyze future earnings and business performance -Budgeting & Forecasting: Manage journal entries, accounting operations, coordinate and preparation of the budget and financial forecast and report variances -Accounting Operations: Utilize accounting software, analyze data, and contribute to the financial reporting and control process of the company. -Cash Flow Management: Compile and analyze financial reporting packages; Prepare monthly and annual operating budgets -Experience in regulatory compliance, financial management & Audits: Preparing company tax and financial statements, including public filings -Knowledge in accounting principles and practices -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills -Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel -Team Leadership & Development: Mentoring and managing the accounting and financial staff -Strategy Planning: Maximize return o financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems, work with other executive decision-makers to minimize risk and identity growth opportunities. Requirements: -Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3-5 years in a controller or similar leadership role. Experience in the service, construction, or landscaping industries is highly desirable -Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification is a plus) -Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, proficient in Quickbooks accounting and advance Excel skills -Work Ethic & Attitude: Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and proactive approach to overcoming challenges. Excellent analytical, proven-solving, and communicating skills. Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities We offer competitive pay commensurate with experience.
