POSITION SUMMARY: As a member of the VillaSport leadership team, the Facilities Director helps bring to life a high performance culture that develops, empowers and recognizes great employees and delivers five-star service, exceptional programs, and an immaculately clean, safe club to members and guests. In decisions and actions, the Facilities Director is guided by VillaSport's Values and Behaviors. The Facilities Director fully executes on all VillaSport Standard Operating Procedures and takes ownership the personnel and operation of all activities related to club facilities maintenance and repair, building systems, and construction/renovation projects. Though guided by the Office of the General Manager, the Facilities Director is expected to be self-motivated, self-reliant, organized and able to handle concurrent projects and assignments. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS INCLUDE: $66,560-$69,900 annually, based on relevant experience to the role. Annual bonus opportunity. PTO. Benefits package. 401K with dollar for dollar match up to 4%. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of two years' experience as a Facilities Director or Chief Engineer at a business with similar standards to VillaSport. Previous hands-on experience as a Maintenance Technician or other skilled trade position is required. Knowledge of pool maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and general maintenance is required. Proven success in customer service and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent training and coaching skills. Able to read and understand blueprints. Familiarity with mechanics of common exercise equipment. Computer literacy and financial management skills. Eye for and attention to detail. Strong leadership skills. Able to work nights, weekends and holidays as business demands. Two or more years of college and/or trade school preferred. First Aid/CPR certification required within 90 days of hire date.
