This is a Full-Time position at CRISTA Ministries in Shoreline, WA. POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Director of Human Resources will create a positive, inclusive, high performance work environment that aligns with CRISTA's mission and vision. Provide Christ-centered, service driven and highly professional operational leadership that ensures an excellent employment experience for employees, while empowering ministry outcomes that are spiritually and culturally healthy. Manage and lead the HR team to achieve excellence in the following HR functions: talent acquisition, total rewards, employee relations, HR operations and systems, compliance and reporting. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (General overview and may not include all details of responsibilities) DUTIES Christ Centered Leadership: Serve as a Senior Director to help accomplish the overall vision and mission for Human Resources in alignment with CRISTA's values and Kingdom first culture. Attend Ministry Council and prayerfully lead and establish strategic plans for growth and success of CRISTA. Provide Christ-led and effective leadership, direction, organization, development and support to staff. Foster a workplace culture that celebrates innovation, inclusivity and collaboration. People Management: Instill a leadership culture of Transformative Performance Management for all staff. Encourage and support continuous learning and career development by providing training, mentoring and ongoing educational opportunities. Maintain open lines of communication with employees about organizational changes, challenges and successes. Operational Management: Partner with the CPO to define the HR vision and strategy for all HR activities, focusing on ongoing improvements and adopting best practices. Build excellence into the employee lifecycle from hire to end of employment, driving retention and employee engagement. Lead and oversee the human resources functions by managing the annual HR cycle and leading the HR team: Talent Acquisition Total Rewards Employee Relations HR Operations and Systems Compliance and Reporting Conduct that reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith, Christian Community Representative Commitment (CCC) and core values. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS CHRIST CENTERED: Belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. Is a committed Christian who is dedicated to continued spiritual growth and development. Affirms, aligns with and supports CRISTA's Statement of Faith. EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in human resources management, Organizational Behavior/Development, Psychology, or related degree from an accredited college or university. EXPERIENCE 7+ years of human resources experience at the Director level or above with significant experience in employee relations, compensation, benefits planning and administration, leadership development, etc. LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION Certificate in Human Resources Management from an accredited institution and/or PHR.
