This is a hybrid position M-F 8am - 5pm, remote with at least one on-site day at the KDG office located in Allentown, PA. KDG is looking for an experienced Accountant with strong technology capabilities. As a professional services firm that focuses on technology, a large proportion of the client work that we work with requires an advanced level of accounting knowledge in addition to strong capabilities with modern accounting software. Requirements Your Job As a Senior Accountant at KDG, you will join our client services team to help lead and execute projects including: 1. Accounting software conversions and implementations - Projects can include: •Reviewing current books and making recommendations for cleanup and facilitating those recommendations •Performing the accounting software conversion/implementation process •Supporting the go live process once the data has been converted •Providing assistance and/or training during the initial stage of the client using the new software. •Facilitating possible transition based on client additional needs. 2. Accounting advisory - Projects can include: •Prepare and examine accounting records, sales tax and other tax collections, payments and processes, and other financial reporting. •Ability to analyze financial reports for business operations and budgeting/forecasting purposes. •Perform non-tax reviews, ensuring adherence to standard requirements •Perform basic bookkeeping and GL maintenance The right candidate for this role would be an outgoing and passionate customer service advocate with a strong attention to detail. Candidates should be well versed in and efficiently using modern technology. This role is perfect for a dynamic self-starter with strong analytical skills who has experience delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. There will be no tax preparation at all as part of this role. Qualifications To be considered, candidates must meet the following criteria: •7+ years experience in Accounting required. •Deep knowledge of QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and (preferably) Zoho Books and Sage. •Advanced Excel user •Exceptional problem solving, organizational, and prioritization skills required. •Strong attention to detail. •Ability to lead projects and see them through to their completion with detailed communication along the way. •Experience in software development, project management, or planning preferred. •Experience in manufacturing, inventory and ERP systems a plus.
