Remote - Must be located in the DMV area Summary: Reporting to the Cloud Practice, Sr. Director and Business Development Lead, the Global Services Business Development Manager will primarily be responsible for growing AWS Global Services presence across all customers. AWS Global Services consists of AWS delivered Professional Services, Training, Enterprise Support, Security, and Managed Services. This individual will assist field sellers to cultivate new opportunities within existing customer bases and work with the appropriate teams to ensure inclusivity of Global Services on new and recompeted contracts. In this role the Global Services BD will also be responsible for identifying AWS Global Services programs and solutions to enhance Four Points' offering. Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Required Certifications - AWS Business and Technical Accreditation, AWS Cloud Practitioner certification. May be achieved after hire. Track, document and report business development efforts. Details to be shared with, Four Points senior management, Four Points sales teams, submitted to AWS via its opportunity tracking system and supplied as content for case studies and partner engagement reports. Regular engagement with customers and partners In person meetings and travel associated with customer visits and industry conferences and events. Build strong relationships with AWS Global Services sellers and delivery teams across Four Points' customer base Candidate will acknowledge and participate in annual ethics training provided by Four Points. Candidate will review, acknowledge, and participate in any US government and regulatory security trainings periodically as required in their role. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Ability to engage customers with strong communication skills for working directly with customers and partners Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and share back with appropriate technical resources for solutioning Ability to understand basic contract terms and conditions related to contracting for cloud Ability to learn and understand basic cloud technology concepts as it relates to customer's utilization of cloud Ability to obtain AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, within 90 days of employment, if not certified upon hire, and maintain certification for term of employment- recertifying when needed. Understand the complexity of reselling and delivering professional services directly and through SI prime contractors to the US Federal Government and other highly regulated industries Education/Experience: Associate degree in related field and/or 3+ years of experience and/or training, OR An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above. Training and experience in cloud offerings, contracts management, and program management, highly desirable.
