About this Opportunity We are looking for a talented Strategy Director (position must be based in Bellevue) who wants to be part of a team to grow our North American Business and be responsible for Key strategic questions within the Strategy and Technology team in the new Market Area North America (MANA) Strategy and Technology Unit. Ericsson's North American Strategy and Technology Team is now adding top talent with distinctive track records in strategic problem-solving and executive-level project management. What you will do: Drive Strategic projects of primary importance to Market Area North America (MANA) and/or Ericsson Effectively manage senior executive project sponsors, and engage key stakeholders & subject matter experts, to deliver on project objectives & deliverables Leverage own broad & deep expertise and experience across strategy and technology topics Analyze and articulate, with distinction and authority, the strategic and economic implications of technology trends, events, and scenarios Develop and anchor holistic recommendations for Ericsson's senior executives to achieve long-term strategic objectives Drive strategic projects in support of group KSQ activities, e.g., RAN technologies, Cloudification, AI, Dedicated Networks etc. What you will bring: 8+ years of experience in Strategy and/or technology roles in high-tech/Telecom Bachelors/Master's degree in a technology field Strong consultative competence across both Strategy and transformation Excellent executive level communication, presentations and listening skills, with ability to communicate complex technical subjects in a non-technical way to influence at an Executive/Senior Level Proven experience of delivering impactful advice and presentations to top-executives Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies and concepts, e.g., RAN, RF engineering, AI/ML, self-organizing networks (SON), Network-as-a-Platform (NWaaP), public cloud integration Proven track-record delivering on responsibilities listed in this role Outstanding problem-solving skills and strong oral & written communication capability (ppt/doc) Experience leading standardization, ecosystem, or partnership ventures is a strong plus Excellent academic background with a master's degree or similar in business and/or engineering Proven ability to work effectively and collaborate with Junior talent, key accounts, stakeholders across a large variety of units, other groups and partners to advance key project deliverables Compensation and Benefits at Ericsson At Ericsson, we know that our people are the key to our success. We offer a competitive package to help with your individual needs and goals. Your Pay The salary range for this position is listed below. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience. Bellevue: $190,000 - $245,000 STV: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply. Your Health Ericsson offers excellent health benefits including the choice of 3 medical plan options, 2 of which are PPO plans requiring employee contributions to the cost of premiums, and a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with no premiums for employees and dependents. In addition, Ericsson offers free dental coverage, employee paid vision coverage, and other company paid physical wellness programs. Your Financial Security We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. Ericsson's 401(k) plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and up to a 4% company match, leading to a maximum company contribution of 7% annually. Employees will also receive company paid basic life and accidental death and dismemberment coverage and paid company short-term and long-term disability benefits. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson's Stock Purchase Plan. Your Time Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided up to 40 days of paid time off per year, including 15 days of accrued annual vacation, 3 personal days, 11 paid holidays, 10 sick days, and 1 volunteer day. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Those with additional vacation time at the end of the year may sell one week of vacation, equal to a week of pay. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of maternity/medical leave, 6 weeks of paternity or adoption leave at 100% of pay, and medical leave at 100% or 66 2/3% of pay, based on length of service.
