What You'll Be Doing: Set up and operate machines and is wholly responsible for the documentation of and quality of the part produced Set up to completion and operate CNC and mechanical equipment assigned to Interpret "Operations Set-Up Hardcopy" and "Program" to select speeds and feeds, operational sequence, tooling and checking fixtures for such operations as turning, boring, facing, chamfering, threading, tapping, etc Interpret complex drawing identifying required dimensions Select pre-designated jaws determining suitability for use and/or capable of machining and boring to make them usable or to program replacement set Calculate offsets when given an angle, distance and formula along with any manual adjustments What We're Looking For: Enrolled or will be enrolled I the related instruction courses required with: Sinclair Community College, Edison State University, or Upper Valley Career Center At least six months of experience in machining or working in a machine shop.
