Job Description: The Key Account Director (KAD) will be responsible for effectively increasing revenue and managing assigned key accounts, identifying, negotiating, and securing new development and commercial supply agreements for the business. The Account Director will lead Jubilant's CMO customer centric approach to bringing solutions to our key business partners to achieve organic growth in line with the organization's strategic plan(s). The KAD will be responsible for managing the budget for their existing commercial accounts as well as meeting or exceeding the target on new business development generation and targeted revenue. Special strategic assignments may need to be performed, as required. Essential responsibilities include: Strategically drive increased profitable revenue, account penetration, and engagement points for Key Accounts. Develop and drive innovative solutions to further differentiate Jubilant's service offerings within the key account(s) while successfully executing plans to continually improve customer satisfaction. Manage key account revenue and profitability budget. Establish clearly defined financial objectives for customers. Partner with key internal stakeholders to proactively manage the customer P&L to ensure we meet/exceed the objectives. Build and develop multi-level relationships, including executives, with customers and within Jubilant. Be fully conversant and intimate with the customer business model, competition, market, and needs. Coordinate with Customer Service/Commercialization, Finance, Legal, and Sr. Management to oversee the day-to-day requirements of our business relationships including pricing, contract extensions/amendments, forecasting, periodic business review meetings, and other customer service related issues, as required. Ensure timely, effective, open, and accurate communication within Jubilant, as well as with accounts, on a consistent basis. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor of Art or Science in Business, Marketing or Life Sciences or an equivalent related field required. 7+ years of relevant account management experience required. Pharmaceutical and FDA Regulated Industry experience desired. Business-to Business (B2B) experience desired. Advanced vocational/specialized knowledge. Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. CRM Software - desired. The incumbent must possess a strategically advantageous technical and scientific knowledge/aptitude to appropriately relate to customers. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are necessary to communicate easily with clients. The incumbent should have a successful work background, which would indicate achievement through self-motivation. Basic exchange of information. Managing conflict and influencing outcomes. Critical interpersonal skills. Ability to identify problems and propose solutions/corrective action to senior leadership. Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and manage time effectively. Ability to successfully manage complex customer issues, under compressed timelines. Compensation: This position pays $133,000 to $190,000 per year, depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises.
