Southcoast Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Responsibilities: Report to the Manger of Quality Outcomes. Collaborate closely with quality and safety leadership, Quality Improvement Specialists and Digital Health Services to manage and optimize quality performance data abstraction, extraction and performance reporting. Facilitate the real-time performance feedback, validation, and identification of improvement opportunities. Model quality performance and payor forecasts to enable data-driven decisions and prioritization of improvement activities. Strategize with stakeholders to support workflow design and clinical documentation aimed at capturing and hardwiring optimum performance aligned with quality specifications/evidenced-base practice. Perform analysis and facilitate change management activities to improve safety, clinical outcomes and/or payor performance. Prepare presentations that clearly explain analyses, recommendations and performance impacts for clinical and non-clinical leaders. Ensure accurate use of external benchmarks and application of sound statistical principles. Improve system use of file automation, reporting and dashboarding tools such as Tableau, Epic, Premier, etc. Perform other duties as assigned and proactively identify and advise on new projects. Foster a collaborative, consultative approach to Quality and Safety. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field such as but not limited to clinical informatics, process engineering, business, analytics, epidemiology, public health required. A Master's degree or equivalent experience is preferred. Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement or data analytics experience or certification a plus or Lean certification within the first year of the position. Experience analyzing, interpreting, and converting large data sets into meaningful visualization in in MS Excel, Premier Health Analytics, Tableau, Minitab or other similar data management and visualization tools is required. Proficient skills in other Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint and Outlook is required. Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred. Advanced data management skills are required for data analysis/interpretation, data visualization for both clinical and non-clinical data. Minimum of (5) years of related healthcare quality improvement experience required including experience interpreting and applying quality measurement specifications. Lean, Six Sigma Certification or similar required with in the first year of employment. Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired. Pay Range: USD $70,969.60 - USD $119,204.80 /Yr.
