Assembly Technician

Summary: Assembly Technicians needed for a busy employer located in Athens, Ohio. Will be doing sub- and final-assembly steps in a large and fast-paced manufacturing environment. Produces basic components by assembling parts and subassemblies using small tools. Follows standard operating procedures and work instructions (written and verbal). Completes any necessary work records accurately and in a timely manner. Works with a team to promote and safe and organized work environment. This is a temporary, full-time position, hiring immediately and lasting indefinitely. Candidates with stand-out performance and dependability will be given strong preference for permanent hire after a probationary period. The schedule is Monday through Thursday 6 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. The pay is $15/hour, overtime rate is $22.50/hour. If hired on direct, this company offers a full benefits package. Qualifications: Must be able to lift 30 lbs consistently and up to 50 lbs occasionally Work safely as a team member Enjoy fast paced work environments Be extremely dependable Be able to work with small pieces and parts Pass a pre-employment drug screen
