Title: Software Engineer III (C ++) Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite) Duration: 12+ month contract Compensation: $60.00 - 75.00/hr. Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S. Skillset / Experience : As a Software Engineer III, you will play a key role in the development of cutting-edge virtual, augmented, and mixed reality experiences. You'll work with a diverse and interdisciplinary team of researchers and engineers, leveraging your expertise in C++ to build and refine data analysis tools and infrastructure. This role requires strong collaboration and communication skills, as you'll work closely with research scientists to enable innovative solutions. Responsibilities : Analyze, evaluate, design, develop, integrate, debug, and test data analysis tools Build software, tools, infrastructure, documentation, and systems that help researchers analyze data and iterate on experiments Educate team members on software engineering best practices, tips, and techniques Write clean, readable code, and debug complex problems that span systems Prioritize ruthlessly and execute tasks efficiently Required Qualifications : BS degree in Computer Science or a related field 5+ years of experience with C++ (C++11 and up), including advanced features and principles Experience shipping products using standard development toolsets (e.g., source control, continuous integration) Strong cross-functional communication skills Desired Qualifications : Python proficiency is a plus Good-to-Have Skills : Experience building software and tools that support research scientists Ability to educate team members on best practices and engineering techniques Capable of prioritizing and delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment Performance Metrics : Ability to meet project timelines as defined by the manager Effective cross-functional collaboration and communication High-quality output in software development and problem-solving Our benefits package includes : Comprehensive medical benefits Competitive pay 401(k) retirement plan ...and much more!
