HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT A Senior Business Analyst provides leadership across global teams for the analysis, recommendation, implementation, and support of global business systems in the Operations space with a focus on Manufacturing, while understanding the connection across other functional processes and systems across the enterprise, including with Engineering, Logistics/Warehousing, Procurement, SIOP, Service and Warranty. THE DETAILS Analysis (30%): Critically assess business problems and requests to develop fixes and potential improvements. Understand and analyze the larger IT systems landscape in order to make overarching solution recommendations. Assess business processes to proactively offer improvement opportunities. Successfully translate business requirements into technical solution design. Business Partnering (30%): Create close alignment with business stakeholders, having one foot in IT and one foot in the business. Have frequent connection points with business teams to understand their vision strategy and priorities. Exhibits strong communication between business and IT functions. Systems (20%): Be seen as a strong technical-functional expert in manufacturing applications, able to complete configurations within SAP and integrated shop floor applications, including solution design, as-is and to-be documentation, building, testing, documentation, and ongoing issue and enhancement support. Partner closely with developers and programmers in IT to create solutions to meet business needs. Have an understanding that bridges business process, functional configuration, and technical development in order to design and execute solutions. Partnering with external vendors and technical support resources. Project Management (20%): Perform project management, following our Oregon Tool IT PMO framework, to deliver small to mid-sized projects. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Educational Background: Possess a four-year degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field; equivalent professional experience is also acceptable. A high school diploma is required. Extensive Experience: Bring 7+ years of experience in similar roles within IT or other business functions, demonstrating a strong foundation in business knowledge, critical thinking skills, IT understanding, and Operations and Manufacturing familiarity. Technical Proficiency: Skilled in configuring and managing SAP, label software, manufacturing data management technology, shop floor tools and a strong command of Microsoft Office Suite. Effective Communication: Strong communicator with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders inside and outside of IT. Problem-Solving and Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to solve problems analytically, work collaboratively with globally dispersed teams, take initiative, and maintain high standards of personal integrity and continuous learning. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Oregon Tool, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 94,400 - 150,100.
