Specific Responsibilities Would Include: The Senior Director, Finance Transformation is a strategic role responsible for spearheading initiatives that reshape processes and operations throughout finance and will report to the Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer. This leader will drive innovation and efficiency, leveraging consulting expertise to transform areas including the monthly close, accounts receivable, deductions management and accounts payable. Leadership, communication, ability to influence and collaboration with cross-functional teams and third-party consultants will be key to driving transformative practices across the organization. Impact & Contribution: The Senior Director , Finance Transformation will have a profound impact on the organization by delivering measurable improvements in process, cash flows and operational efficiency. Contributions are expected to include: Enhancing financial processes to be more efficient and effective, leading to cost savings, improved cash flows and a shorter financial close. Implementing best practices to elevate strategic partnership in identified areas. Driving innovation in process and technology. Leading cross-functional initiatives that align financial transformation with broader business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute business process optimization to streamline financial operations and reduce costs. Provide expert advice and strategies for financial transformation. Ownership of project management duties to ensure successful delivery of finance transformation projects. Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate financial transformation with other business areas. Manage relationships and serve as a liaison between third-party consultants and IT. Financial close: work with key accounting and finance areas to reduce complexity, shorten the financial close and streamline reporting and redesign the chart of accounts. Accounts receivable: optimize collections activities, reporting and processing with third party service provider. Deductions management: lead projects that improve cash flows and efficiency by redesigning key processes for customer discounts and other areas and implementing technology solutions, including tracking and store warehouse shipping documents. Accounts payable: enhance controls; work with third party service provider to improve invoice coding and routing processes; evaluate procure to pay solutions. Work with third party consultants to implement reporting solutions and dashboards in accounts receivable and accounts payable. Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have: Qualifications: 15 plus years of accounting / finance / consulting experience and extensive consumer products background. Proven track record of driving accounting and finance process innovation and improvement. Expertise in business process optimization, with a history of achieving significant operational improvements. Exceptional project management skills: ability to lead and shape complex projects from inception to completion. Excellent collaboration skills; persuasive; experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. Effective communication and relationship management abilities. Certified Project Manager or similar accreditation and Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred. Prior experience working in or driving innovation in accounting and reporting, accounts receivable, deductions management and accounts payable. Prior experience with SAP and systems implementations. Education: Bachelors degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance and / or Project Management. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred. Skills and Competencies: Strong strategic thinking and leadership abilities. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (i.e., Six Sigma). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in change management practices. Strong analytical and performance measurement skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Effective collaboration skills to work with various departments and stakeholders. Superb MS Excel and PowerPoint skills. Salary Range: $150,000-$190,000 At Centric Brands, we believe our people are our greatest asset, and we seek to structure competitive compensation offers to ensure that we are able to attract and retain the best talent. Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
