Competitive Salary & 401K company match that vests immediately upon participation Traditional benefits for full-time hourly - Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Short Term, and Long Term Disability Equity available to full time employees after 1 year of employment Generous sick leave & PTO policy Paid holidays About the Role: As a team member of the Sanitation Team, you will be responsible for washing and sanitizing tools, Lexan tubs, bus tubs and other items in the Dishwashing Room using a large commercial dishwashing machine and other methods. Keeping our utensils clean is a crucial part of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Responsibilities as a Dishwasher: Washing dishes and equipment in the Dishwashing Room to meet Farmer's Fridge standards of cleanliness. Change the dishwasher water, detergent, and sanitizer to keep the machine running clean, and complete the Dishwasher Water Change Checklist in real-time. Clean the tool storage boxes, dish shelves, and stages (weekly) and keep the dish room tidy. Communicate with the QFS Team on equipment that must be swabbed to return to Production. Communicate with the Quality Supervisor if there are any equipment issues or if other support is needed. Retrieve racks of dirty dishes from the Production rooms to bring to the dish room if short-handed Porters. Ensure the floor drain strainer in the Dish Room does not get clogged. Keep the drain cap opener hung on the wall and report any drain backups to the Quality Supervisor. Refill soaking barrels with detergent each morning and use it to loosen caked-on food. Work with the Quality Supervisor to ensure enough clean dishes to not delay production. Use dish stands to keep all dishes off the floor and ensure the dish transport carts are kept visually clean. Necessary knowledge, skills, and experience: Able to stand and work for long periods of time (8+ hour shifts) in a cold environment (around 40 degrees) and in a hot environment. Must be able and willing to work in refrigerated coolers (~38°F) Able to lift 25-50 lbs.
