Salary: $95,000 - $130,000 per year A bit about us: Our client, a well-known global manufacturing company, is seeking an Assistant Controller to join its growing team. Why join us? Responsibilities: 1. Assist the Regional Controller in managing all financial operations of the firm, including budgeting, forecasting, audit, and internal control systems. 2. Provide leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives. 3. Ensure credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts. 4. Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization. 5. Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory action. 6. Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions. 7. Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities. 8. Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets, and consolidation and reporting to the Company. 9. Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities. 10. Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP. Job Details Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A Masters degree or CPA would be a plus. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or engineering industry. 3. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively. 4. Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). 5. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems. 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to present complex financial information in an easy-to-understand format. 7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses. 8.
