Job Description Your Role: As part of the Performance Measurement, Analytics and Reporting ("PMAR") organization, our team collects and analyzes investment data. Our key internal stakeholders include portfolio/product management, marketing, compliance, and investment management. This role is to support the day-to-day needs of the business and to help drive the team forward by being a key contributor to ongoing strategic projects. Only accepting applications for candidate's who live in Louisville, Kentucky or Houston, Texas at this time You will be responsible for: Calculate, review, and verify performance data ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Interact with appropriate individuals/groups to resolve errors as necessary Maintain systems and databases by ensuring departmental procedures are followed to review the accuracy and integrity of performance data Use statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret anomalies and patterns in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and resolution of trends and troubleshoot issues Assist in the construction and maintenance of composites in compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards. Identify opportunities to streamline existing business processes by automating recurring and ad-hoc analyses into stable, repeatable reports, metrics, and dashboards. Interact regularly with clients to research, analyze and resolve queries Actively participate on special projects and support/implement process improvements/efficiencies Develop automated solutions via technical enhancements utilizing SQL and/or VBA Understand data infrastructure and work to resolve data issues The experience you bring: Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Marketing or a related field is required. It is also necessary to understand industry regulations governing the investment management industry and related compliance procedures Strong exposure with analyzing large quantity and variety of data. Advanced Excel skills. Data visualization experience using Power BI, Tableau or any other visualization tool is an advantage. Experience partnering with IT engineers to design data repositories and pipelines desirable. Expertise in using data sourcing and analysis tools such as Alteryx, SQL, Python, SAS or R Must have a proven background in problem solving complex issues You are an independent self-starter, positive can-do attitude that overcomes challenges and barriers. A have a high degree of curiosity and a desire to learn, including taking on results-oriented new assignments.
