Job Description: Plant Engineering - Business Development Manager As a Business Development Manager in Plant Engineering, you will be responsible for driving new business (hunting) and growing existing accounts (farming) with a focus on plant engineering services, utilities, and the oil & gas industry. While experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (Client) sector is a plus, it is not mandatory. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in core plant engineering services and digital services, with a proven track record of managing clients in sectors such as oil & gas, utilities, and industrial engineering. Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within plant engineering, focusing on utilities and oil & gas sectors. Manage and grow a portfolio of $8-12 million by building and maintaining strong client relationships. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align plant engineering and digital solutions with client needs. Develop and implement strategic plans for business growth, including process optimization and sustainability initiatives. Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities in plant engineering services. Lead contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with client goals and organizational objectives. Ensure successful project delivery by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Requirements: Proven experience in plant engineering services with a focus on utilities, oil & gas, or industrial sectors. Strong knowledge of digital services in plant engineering, including process automation and optimization. Excellent business development skills, with a balance of both hunting and farming. Experience managing a portfolio of $8-12 million. Experience in Client is preferred but not mandatory.
