Job Description for Product Owner/Business Analyst Key Responsibilities: Product Ownership: •Backlog Management: Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it is well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with business objectives. •User Stories: Write clear and concise user stories with acceptance criteria that development teams can act on. •Product Roadmap: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. •Sprint Planning: Work with the Scrum Master and development team to plan sprints, ensuring that the highest-value features are delivered. •Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that everyone is aligned on product goals and progress. Qualifications: •Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. •Experience: o 3+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or related role, preferably in an Agile environment. o Strong experience working with cross-functional teams in product management, software development, or business process improvement. o Experience in requirement elicitation, user story creation, and backlog management. •Agile Methodology: Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and related tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, etc.). •Business Analysis Skills: Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and communicate them effectively to development teams. •Technical Understanding: Basic understanding of software development processes, APIs, databases, and system integration. •Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing relationships with stakeholders at various levels within the organization.
