Position Overview We are currently seeking a qualified Plumbing Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot plumbing systems in multi-family homes. If you possess expertise in various piping materials and have a passion for solving plumbing challenges, we invite you to consider joining our team. Key Responsibilities Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve issues within plumbing systems efficiently. Piping Proficiency: Work with a variety of materials, including copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, and PEX. Leak Detection: Identify and repair leaks to ensure system integrity. Drain Cleaning: Maintain optimal function of plumbing systems through regular cleaning. Sewage Management: Address and manage sewage backups effectively. Blueprint Navigation: Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications. Material Identification: Select appropriate materials for each project. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed. Green Installations: Install eco-friendly plumbing equipment as part of our sustainability efforts. Specialized Welding: Employ advanced welding techniques for specialized piping. Miscellaneous Duties: Complete additional related tasks as required. Requirements Experience: Prior experience in multi-family maintenance is preferred. Certifications: Plumbing certification or license is advantageous but not mandatory. Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred (not required). Bilingual: Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus. Dependability: Must demonstrate flexibility and a strong ability to work within a team. Travel: Some travel may be required. Driver's License: A valid driver's license is essential.
