Title: Senior Java Backend Engineer with AWS Migration Duration: 12 Months Contract Overview: Join our Systems Development Team as a Lead Engineer to drive AWS migration efforts and provide technical leadership in backend services delivery. Responsibilities: Lead AWS migration and guide rearchitecting of Java Spring Framework applications to AWS Design and implement micro-services architectures using Java and AWS technologies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend systems with AWS Mentor and guide the team through technical challenges as an AWS and Java subject matter expert Required Skills & Experience: 12-13+ years of backend and middle-tier systems development experience 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, including architecture and development Strong experience with Java, Java Spring Framework, and Spring Integration Deep understanding of microservices architectures and cloud migration strategies Excellent communication and leadership skills Preferred Skills & Experience: AWS monitoring tools such as CloudWatch and Datadog Healthcare industry experience
