Job Title: Software Engineer Client: Health Care Insurance Company Duration: 12 Months Location: Washington, DC 20065 Software Developer - Java Spring REST API Developer (AWS) Responsibilities: Object-oriented analysis and design with expertise in Web Services (Restful, SOAP, API), Core Java, and J2EE. Produce high-quality design documents, code, conduct code reviews, and perform unit testing. Provide insights into software development best practices and lifecycle. Strong technical skills across SDLC phases, participating in Agile/Scrum projects. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years hands-on experience building enterprise software with Java. Proficient in web service development (REST API, SOAP). Experience with AWS services like API Gateway, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch. Solid skills in Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, JDBC, Hibernate, JMS, XML, XSLT. Implement secure and scalable API solutions, troubleshoot and debug issues. Familiarity with Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, SVN, Agile tools (JIRA). Health Care industry experience preferred. Cloud-based database knowledge (Snowflake) a plus. #ZR
