Job Overview We currently have an opening for a full-time Environmental Services Tech (Housekeeper) to join our Portland, OR team. Must have basic knowledge of good housekeeping and laundry practices. Must have the interpersonal skills necessary to work well with others and communicate appropriately with other departments. Capable of evaluating the quality of the services that we provide. Necessary to follow Universal Precautions, Infection Control and Safety guidelines. Schedule: Part-time M/W/F 1:30 PM-7:00 PM (in-person) Holidays: 9 observed holidays per year Compensation range: The hired applicant's placement within the range is based on qualifications, professional experience and education. Responsibilities Implements the Disinfection and Terminal Cleaning of Areas • Responsible for the disinfection of routine & terminal cleaning in areas assigned. Laundry • Removes soiled linens from department to the soiled utility room on first floor Utilization of Time • Does not spend excessive time with patients, visitors, and staff. Floor Care • Sweeps, wet mops, vacuums floors and spot cleans carpet. Continuous Quality Improvement • Notifies Manager of any conditions that affect the quality of service provided by department. This is not an all inclusive list of this job's responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. Qualifications Required COVID-19 Vaccination 1 year experience in environmental services or laundry Preferred High School/GED
