For more information, please visit What You Can Look Forward To: Energy Recovery is on the hunt for a dedicated Assembly Technician to join our team in San Leandro, CA, for an immediate opening. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards. Perform mechanical assembly and hydro testing of ERI products in accordance with released assembly and test procedures. Ensure the products meet compliance with all released product and component documentation. Perform disassembly of field returned products for analysis, prepare product failure analysis report and repair as directed. Label and package products in accordance with released procedures. Operate forklift and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks and pallet racks as required. All other duties as assigned. What You Bring to the Table: High School Diploma. Journeyman training in a mechanical trade a plus. 3+ years' experience working in non-electronic mechanical equipment assembly. Demonstrated knowledge of product and material testing requirements and processes. Demonstrated knowledge of the proper and safe use of common hand tools and equipment familiarity with general assembly procedures (bearings, press fits, hand tooling, etc.) Certification to run a forklift. Must be proficient in the use of basic gauging tools (i.e. micrometers, calipers, etc.) High mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to easily lift 50 pounds unassisted. Ability to read and comprehend product Bill of Materials. Ability to use machine and assembly drawings to accomplish assigned tasks. Excellent manual dexterity and computer literacy required. Must be a team player, professional, self-starter and able to work under pressure. Must be quality focused, reliable, able to interpret directions and stay on task, self-motivated and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Manual machining skills and machine shop experience a plus. What's in It for You? We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. This range may be modified in the future.
