The Mastercard Builders' Enablement Team in Mastercard's Architecture & Technology division empowers 6000+ Engineers around the globe. This team leads the way to deliver a great developer experience and enables engineers to deliver innovative payment solutions for hundreds of millions of customers. We do this by building and operating a holistic set of services and tooling focusing on: • Application Frameworks & Bootstrapping • Standard CI/CD Pipelines, Developer Tooling & Environments • Cloud agnostic Declarative provisioning of infrastructure and application resources Software Engineer I Role: A hands-on engineer who writes high-quality code with a focus on security, design, and maintainability. Contribute to all phases of software development from design through rollout. Have strong ownership of your team's software including monitoring, dependencies, build, and deployments. Communicate, collaborate and work effectively in a global environment. About You: Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and core computer science concepts. Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, etc. Strong written and verbal English communication skills. Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills. In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
