Company Description Sagetap is a rapidly growing startup that is changing the way software vendors bring products to market. We are building a marketplace that enables b2b software vendors to identify, validate, and iterate their product and go-to-market strategies directly with target technology buyers & end-users in a non-sales setting. The Sagetap platform combines access to these practitioners with a suite of SaaS tools to help software vendors collect, analyze, and take action on non-customer sentiment in a meaningful way. Job Description At Sagetap we are looking for an experienced Data Scientist that will lead the vendor selection analytics team, overseeing and guiding their efforts to drive impactful data initiatives and insights. You will conduct analyses to uncover trends and patterns that enhance buyer growth and engagement. You'll design and implement experiments to test hypotheses related to vendor acquisition, revenue innovation, and sales operations, measuring and analyzing the impact of these experiments to inform strategic decisions. Your responsibilities will include optimizing vendor acquisition strategies through data analysis, driving revenue innovation by identifying opportunities to enhance revenue streams, and conducting detailed analysis of sales operations to improve efficiency. Additionally, you'll analyze vendor operations to ensure optimal performance and identify areas for improvement. Qualifications What are we looking for: Experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong focus on marketplace growth and engagement, and proven expertise in advanced analytics and experimentation. Proficiency in statistical analysis with experience in SQL, Python, and Tableau Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies. Ability to work effectively with the different teams and contribute to strategic planning and execution. Additional Information This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is a remote position, and can be based in any location. Since our distributed team works primarily across US time zones, US-based applicants are preferred.
