Kalman & Company is seeking highly motivated, performance driven individuals with strong data analytics/science backgrounds to work closely with our Federal and Department of Defense (DoD) clients. Successful candidates will have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills and the ability to contribute to several of the largest and most significant studies in Kalman's portfolios. This role consists of designing, developing, and deploying business analytics products, including decision/scenario analysis and interactive dashboards. As a Kalman Analyst, you will work with military leaders, engineers, developers, technicians, logisticians, and financial managers to solve continuously evolving challenges across multiple academic domains and industries and help ensure the successful deployment of capabilities that are critical to the United States DoD and our allies. Duties/Responsibilities: Develop, test, update, manipulate, and maintain data models and dashboards in support of emerging capabilities and priority programs. Identify opportunities and implement methodologies to streamline/automate reporting processes Collaborate with colleagues and government stakeholders to define data collection strategies, normalize and analyze complex data, establish data frameworks, and create predictive models and trend analysis from enterprise-level data sets. Interpret analysis results using statistical techniques and/or relational databases and produce reports to meet client and/or business needs Prepare briefing materials and other communication packages presenting analysis results to management at the executive and oversight levels. Work autonomously and as part of a team to meet organizational and project goals. Effectively communicate analysis to government stakeholders Thoroughly understand the customer mission and provide innovative ideas to address their business challenges. Required Skills/Abilities US Citizenship Ability to obtain a government-issued Security Clearance Bachelor's Degree in any field and successful completion of twenty-one semester hours in operations research, economics, math, chemistry, physics, or other sciences where the utilization of advanced math skills in geometry, trigonometry, statistics, probability, or quantitative analyses was required. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Ability to lead detail-oriented tasks and multi-task under minimal supervision. Experience conducting advanced mathematical and/or statistical methods and creating/maintaining databases. Excellent analysis skills and experience working with large data sets. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to contribute effectively to working groups through oral and written communication. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
