Direct Report Digital Media Lead Employee Profile and Desired Traits • High level emotional intelligence • Active in team dynamics, conflict prevention/resolution, and identifying customer needs • Cheerful attitude and servant leadership disposition • Dedicated customer service and people oriented • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with ability to learn and develop hard and soft skills • Ability to interact with men and women of all ages and maturity levels of staff/customers Duties & Responsibilities • Capture/creation of high-quality digital images, videos and/or assets for marketing efforts. • Contribute to marketing projects using written word, graphics/web, and/or visual stories. • Full-scope management of assigned created/captured digital assets. • Organization and management of all files related to assigned projects. • Team members may also be asked to manage/curate social media accounts/campaigns. • Properly manage and maintain any issued equipment. • Work collaboratively within Digital Media Team and other departments to complete projects. • Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area • Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership • Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook Qualifications & Training • 18 years of age or older • Training or significant experience in relevant field of study: Examples include but not limited to: Photo/videography, Photojournalism, graphic/web design, marketing, or social media. • Proficiency using relevant editing/production software (Adobe Creative Suite Preferred) • Staff will need to manage their time and workflow to complete assigned tasks/projects • Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination • Be or become a registered member of Scouting America Performance Results • Meet/exceed expectations as agreed upon with supervisor/as listed on performance review. • Contribute positively to Summit marketing efforts through completion of assigned projects. • Positively represent and promote the Summit to existing and potential customers and guests. • Create/document memorable moments to tell the "Summit Story" Physical Requirements • Up to 10 hours a day of either standing, walking, hiking, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. • Can pass the physical exam and approved for SBR height and weight requirements Uniform Summit staff uniform Housing 10x12' Platform Tent; Foxtrot Base Camp Expected Weekly Hours 45 - 55
