Senior Internal Auditor Job ID of Openings 1 Job Locations Remote - U.S. Category Accounting and Finance Overview The Internal Auditor 3 is responsible for the examination and evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of the company's governance risk management process and system of internal controls. What you will be doing Conduct complex analyses with minimal oversight from team members Evaluate the reliability and integrity of financial and operating information based upon industry trends, authoritative literature and business objectives Evaluate the systems established to ensure compliance with policies, plans, procedures, laws and regulations Evaluate the means of safeguarding assets including verifying the existence of such assets Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management systems Provide support to external auditors, including performing walk-throughs and tests of controls Maintain key relationships with line of business managers, internal partners and external auditors Provide advisory services related to governance, risk management and internal controls; create process maps and recommend process improvements Provide revenue recognition guidance, support and training to cross-functional organizations including Sales, Professional Services, Accounting/Finance and Legal Compose internal documentation that details processes and findings Identify and improve internal efficiencies Provide guidance to other team members Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy What will make you successful Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Experience as an Internal Auditor Experience with GAAP, financial statements and internal controls Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Strong oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact Highly organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking Demonstrated ability to operate at the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and forthrightness Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills Strong collaborative skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas Demonstrated ability to articulate complex topics both verbally and in writing to diverse audiences Detail oriented; regularly verifies all work thoroughly and efficiently to ensure accuracy Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job Up to 10% travel time required Based on individual states' employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements: base salary range of $72,000-$90,000 and eligible for bonus and benefits What you can expect next Hyland Recruiters thoroughly review every application and will contact you within 1 to 2 weeks regarding next steps.
