Short Order Cook

Our team at Zaxby's is looking for a Short Order Cook to join us immediately! The Short Order Cook is responsible for preparing and assembling food orders, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and upholding food safety and quality standards. Duties and Responsibilities: Complete all required training and certifications Provide friendly service to guests and maintain awareness of promotions Prepare menu items according to company standards and safety guidelines Operate food preparation and cooking equipment safely Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas Receive, stock, and manage inventory Job Qualifications: Must be 16 years of age or older Available to work 9 to 28 hours per week Capability Requirements: Sit, stand, and walk continuously Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds Effective communication skills Ability to work in hot and cold temperature variations Safely operate restaurant equipment
