Position Overview: The Cost Accounting Manager will be a key part of our finance team. You will help us ensure Stanley has robust processes for inventory, AP, and treasury that support our growing, global businesses. Your technical accounting knowledge will allow you to identify process improvements and reduce processing times, and your people management experience to support and develop a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities: Manages the month-end closing process for Inventory and AP, providing insight and analysis to leaders at all levels on budget to actual differences. Makes sure AP processes run smoothly and efficiently. Oversees Inventory and AP estimates for Stanley and tms. Works cross-functionally to ensure accruals and reserves are correctly calculated and supported with appropriate basis or backup, in accordance with US GAAP. Ensures timely completion of all relevant account reconciliations. Responsible for the treasury function. Ensures Stanley and tms have the liquidity to support the current business and future growth. Works with Havi, the parent company of Stanley and tms, to meet all corporate treasury requests and requirements. Manages a high-performing team, providing mentorship and guidance to help them achieve technical and professional goals. Builds robust, scalable processes to support the continued growth of the Stanley and tms businesses in multiple geographies. Ensures appropriate documentation is in place for key policies and procedures, including internal controls. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field; CPA preferred. 7+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within consumer products and/or manufacturing environments. 3+ years of supervisory experience. Strong understanding and application of US GAAP. Strong understanding of internal controls and systems view of accounting processes and procedures. Advanced skills using Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with Oracle and Hyperion is a plus Experience supporting growing, global businesses preferred Salary Range $140,000 - $160,000 annually. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
