Position Overview The Corporate Controller serves a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the company's financial operations. This position is charged with supervising the accounting and finance departments, ensuring accurate financial reporting, preparing strategic budgetary plans, and maintaining rigorous financial compliance. The Corporate Controller is also tasked with advising the Chief Financial Officer on financial best practices and developing strategic solutions to enhance the company's financial stability and growth. Primary Responsibilities Accounting Oversight: Direct and manage the accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable departments. Lead the review and supervision of external audits, evaluate accounting and internal control systems, and manage the recruitment, training, and development of accounting personnel. Financial Reporting: Prepare and oversee the accurate and timely production of internal and external financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Budget Management: Oversee the budget planning and management process. Strategic Forecasting: Provide insights to inform strategic financial decisions. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full adherence to relevant financial laws and regulations, including GAAP, International Financial Reporting Standards, and SEC requirements. Performance Monitoring: Develop and track key financial performance indicators. Operational Improvement: Evaluate current accounting practices, offer improvement recommendations, and implement efficient new processes. Job Requirements Proven ability to engage in detail-oriented tasks effectively. Comprehensive understanding of E-commerce and retail sales channels. Expertise in accounting systems. Highly motivated with a robust work ethic. Capacity to support strategic initiatives. Experience and Training Significant experience as a Controller in a similar-sized organization. Experience NetSuite or with ERP systems, preferring candidates familiar with NetSuite or similar platforms. Background in private equity-backed organizations is a plus. At least three years of experience in cost accounting. Experience in the manufacturing industry. Educational Requirements Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred. Bachelor's degree required.
