GENERAL SUMMARY: Under limited supervision the Research Grant/Contract Manager III Comprehensively manages complex grant portfolios for a functional group or team of Principal Investigators (PIs). This role involves planning, budgeting, tracking project activities, and ensuring timely communication to stakeholders. Utilizing project management tools and techniques, This role monitors financial aspects of multiple research grants, potential subcontracts or consultant agreements, and staffing data. This role requires extensive financial forecasting, problem solving, and communication skills. In addition, this role will provide training to support staff regarding grant financial and institutional procedures and may be responsible for coaching and mentoring junior team members. EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in health sciences, health related field, finance, or business. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Eight (8) years of experience in project management, research, grant or contract management, or finance, including at least six (6) years in research grant or contract management. Strong analytical ability with attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving skills. Good interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.
