Position Overview Supports the identification, strategy development, analysis, and execution of growth opportunities related to pricing. Responsible for analyzing pricing actions and outcomes, while providing recommendations for our pricing strategy to drive ongoing growth and margin enhancement both on selling to new customers and our approach to pricing with our existing customers. Leads pricing efforts, delivers pricing insights & action recommendations, and ensures timely delivery of output. Responsibilities Aids in the development of strategy for our various customer segments and geographies as it pertains to new customer acquisition, additional products and services, price increase timing, and customer retention efforts. Supports a continuous analysis of sales tool kits, including pricing, bundling, and discounting strategies for selling to new customers. Drives strategic pricing actions to key stakeholders and senior executives based on analyses; partners with stakeholders and executive team to execute against identified pricing opportunities, and measure impact. Gathers, analyzes, and synthesizes data from internal and external sources to support conclusions and recommendations. Conduct statistical analyses to determine the relationship of multiple variables and identify future opportunities to enhance pricing strategy. Drive the integration of enterprise pricing into the organization's strategic objectives. Manage internal resources and third-party vendor relationships for competitor monitoring and consumer research as needed. Supports the development and standardization of pricing practices and processes, including executing a sustained test and learning approach to our pricing strategy. Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, engineering or a quantitative (e.g. engineering) field and 5+ years of experience in corporate strategy or enterprise pricing or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Pricing experience in a retail or consumer goods/services and high transaction volume industry, preferred. MBA, or other business-related graduate degree, preferred Prior experience in the retail or consumer goods / services industry, preferred 2+ years of supervisory management experience preferred Prior database management experience, preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Advanced problem-solving skills (including problem structuring, detailed analysis and recommendation development) Strong verbal and written communications skills (including the ability to develop compelling presentations) Ability to demonstrate drive, energy, and self-motivation Strong interpersonal skills with experience working in teams Ability to build strategic working relationships Highly proficient with Microsoft Office products Ability to demonstrate an understanding of database management Ability to procure and clean data Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently Physical Demands & Working Conditions The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Pay Ranges $79,175.00 - $131,958.00 This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer benefits, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and Company-matching 401(k) in addition to other programs and perks.
