Position Summary: KEMET is currently seeking an Account Manager in the Ohio area who will plan and carry out sales efforts at key customers through direct and distribution channels. Responsibilities include revenue growth, technical design activity to increase print position, and relationship management. Come join a team that is positioned for growth! Essential Functions: Meet or exceed sales budget. Work with all aspects of the customer from engineering, procurement, quality, C-level, etc. Responsible for understanding our products and communicating advantages, differentiators, etc with engineering while providing technical support utilizing internal resources. Maintain high level of service to current customer base and develop targeted new customers. Establish territory strategy and implement both short- and long-term goals. Built relationships with internal team including Customer Service, Product Management, Field Application Engineers, Quote team, etc to help support territory strategy. Manage distribution partners and establish annual goals, strategies, perform product training, and quarterly business reviews. Monitor and communicate local market trends. Support Pricing Analyst with major RFQs where needed. Competencies: Ability to arrange and coordinate sales meetings and technical seminars. Demonstrated ability to use and maintain dynamic CRM (i.e. Salesforce). Achievement driven; enjoys competitiveness and thrives on being the best and winning. Have a "can do" attitude with a strong positive focus on sales; loves to be challenged. Has an outgoing, dynamic personality and can build outstanding relationships. Wants to lead the change to grow the business and create sales opportunities that increase our position and share within the market. Ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver presentations utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint. Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Excel proficiently and use data to manage territory. Excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Desire to succeed and grow within our organization. Education and Experience: BA/BS degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field is desired. Minimum 2 years of previous sales experience with demonstrated track record of growth and interested in building upon their successful track record in sales. Must be experienced with solutions-based selling and approach to solving customer's problems. Physical Requirements: Remains in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. May require extended periods in vehicle driving between meetings and/or in traffic.
